SOFT STRIP

Taking a building back to its shell is one of our key specialities. This can require a more finessed approach and may involve a well programmed and organised sequencing. From an office block conversion into flats, to remodelling Council offices in phases, we have experience in co-ordinating this with minimal disruption to all stakeholders.

ASBESTOS REMOVAL

Asbestos is found in the majority of buildings that are to be refurbished or demolished. An extremely dangerous and hazardous substance, its removal is rightly governed by strict health and safety legislation. We can assist at the very early stages of a project, with identification and surveying, to safely managing, removing and disposing of asbestos.

RECLAMATION & RECYCLING

We enjoy nothing more than reclaiming old stock bricks, roof slates or tiles, timbers or decorative features from buildings that are deemed no longer fit for purpose. This is fantastic from an environmental perspective, & for the preservation of architectural design. Desirable salvaged materials potentially have commercial benefits too!

SITE CLEARANCE & ENABLING

With demolition often comes the clearance and preparation of a site ready to receive groundworkers, and the construction phase of the project. This can include removal of green waste, but might also include fly-tipped waste, hazardous materials, or remnants of previous use. We often install tree protection measures and fencing, site hoardings and boundaries, as well as the install of piling mats.
